The atomic models are representations made by humans about how they think an atom is in the real life. Many atomic models have been discarded, because of some questions cannot be answered by them. Some of the most relevant are the Dalton's model, Thomson's model, Rutherford's model, Bohr's model and Mechanic-Quantic model.
